When I met Ashleigh and Colin, they felt like instant friends. They are so warm and kind–the kind of people who make sure you feel comfortable even though it’s their wedding weekend. Their family and friends were the same way, and you could tell everyone there absolutely adored them. It was such an honor to witness the moment they said “I do”, and I’m so grateful to know them! I can’t wait to share these highlights from their big day.

The lush outdoor space at Sanctuary Golf Club in Captiva is the perfect setting for a garden style wedding. The lawn is perfectly manicured, the palm trees sway above you, and it is filled with Florida sunshine. For Ashleigh & Colin’s wedding, they perfected the vibe with lush pink florals, customized outdoor bars, and so many personalized details–like their golf flag and “Let’s Par-Tee” escort wall.
Inspired by the softness and warmth of a Nancy Meyers film, Ashleigh & Colin’s refined pink garden wedding blended classic design with an effortless sense of ease. This wedding day was filled with so much joy, laughter, happy tears and genuine emotions. Every detail was intentional, polished, and timeless, from the soft pink palette to the light-filled setting that was perfect for a summer wedding in Captiva. It was such a joy to relive this perfect day!
Destination Weddings on Captiva Island, Florida
Ashleigh worked with the talented Kelly McWilliams to plan the most perfect Martha Stewart meets Nancy Meyers inspired aesthetic, and they absolutely nailed it. The venue was the perfect setting for the garden party vibe, soft and feminine florals, every detail felt intentional–it all came together perfectly. The guests were over the moon with their experience, and I know this is a wedding people are still talking about. Captiva Island definitely stole my heart, and I can’t wait to go back!
