From Engagement Photos to Parenthood
One of the things I love most about photographing growing families is seeing the journey come full circle. It feels like just yesterday that we were capturing the excitement of their engagement session and wedding day. Now, they are preparing to welcome a precious new baby, and the joy and anticipation they share is evident in every photograph.
Having the opportunity to document so many milestones for the same family is one of the greatest honors of being a photographer. Watching their love story grow into a beautiful family has been incredibly special.
There are some families who become more than clients over the years, and this sweet family is one of them. From their engagement session, to their wedding day, and now this beautiful season of anticipation as they prepare to welcome their newest little one, it has been such a privilege to document these milestones and watch their story unfold.
A Meaningful Maternity Session at SpringHouse in Alabama
For their maternity session, we met at the beautiful SpringHouse in Alabama, one of the state’s most picturesque locations for timeless portraits. Nestled among rolling hills, scenic views, and elegant Southern charm, SpringHouse provided the perfect backdrop for celebrating this exciting chapter in their lives.
I believe maternity sessions are about so much more than documenting a baby bump. They capture the quiet moments of connection, the excitement of what’s to come, and the love that already surrounds a child before they arrive. This session was filled with all of those things. These photographs will forever serve as a reminder of this fleeting season before life changes in the most wonderful way.
